In preventive measures, NGP covers but not limiting to the following:

  • Liaison with all contractors on the route on plant service request
  • Periodic fibre network testing to upkeep network performance
  • Management of the utility request process prior to commence earthworks by others
  • Utility request system
  • Updating network documentation
  • Liaison with local authorities in diversion service by authorities’ requestor.
  • Routine Physical Inspections

In event of emergency callout of network breakdown, NGP is able to deploy in house ready team of trained and experienced in fibre optic network in 24/7 to site within 2 hours upon activation of fault.

Operation Manager and Engineer will first to verify the scenario of actions to restore the network in shortest possible time and activate the teams for the corrective action.
